Roxy Music Home
Formed in 1971 by Bryan Ferry and Brian Eno (who left in 1973), Roxy Music developed over a decade, marrying old and new themes with a distinct air of sophistication. Their albums 'Stranded' and 'Country Life' were considered two of the most original rock albums of the 1970s. The band was ended by Ferry in 1983, who wanted to continue with his solo career, and then picked up again in 2001, to Eno's disapproval. Nevertheless, the current lineup of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera and Andy Mackay has played various tours and festival appearances since having reformed, recording new material as well.
